Photogrammetry Explorer demo · Melbourne CBD
Inspect a synthetic 15 × 15 m photogrammetry deliverable with point cloud, mesh, and heightmap modes. The viewer mirrors contractor-style handovers while keeping the experience fast, legible, and easy to extend.
Photogrammetry produces dense point clouds, textured meshes, orthomosaics, and DEM/DTM elevation grids that support measurement, QA, and visual inspection.
Drone flights are planned for 75–85% image overlap, consistent altitude, and surveyed control points to anchor the model to a real-world coordinate frame.
Feature matching aligns imagery into a sparse cloud, dense reconstruction refines the point cloud, and mesh/DEM generation produce surfaces for analysis.
Use the viewer toggles to compare points, mesh, and heightmap layers. Grid and elevation color help read slopes, while the readout shows precise XYZ coordinates.
The park terrain, trees, and rocks are synthetic, but file naming, metadata, and coordinate structure reflect realistic contractor handovers.
